1 cup mirin 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1 Serrano Chile pepper minced 1 teaspoon minced garlic 2 green onions (scallions), sliced 1 cup light beer 1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce 1/2 cup chopped cilantro, optional 6 (4-ounce) beef tenderloin fillets
In a shallow dish, combine together the mirin, ginger, Serrano chile, garlic, green onions, beer, soy sauce, and cilantro, and add the fillets, and marinate the fillets for at least 2 hours time permitting.
Grill, or pan-sear on a hot skillet about 5 to 10 minutes on each side, depending on how well cooked you like the meat, and serve immediately.
Marinade-infused flavor colors every bite of this marvelous dish. Try with different cuts of beef pork.
