Blackberry Cobbler (2)

1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
pinch of salt
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups fresh or 2 (10oz) frozen blackberries or mixture of any fruit

Pour butter into an 11x7x11/2 inch baking dish, set aside.

Combine flour and next 3 ingredients; stir well. Add milk and vanilla; stir until blended.

Pour batter into baking dish. Sprinkle with blackberries (do not stir). Bake, uncovered, at 375°F for 40 to 45 minutes.

Serve warm
