Apple Cookies Posted On April 5, 2016 Jump to recipe Apple Cookies Save to BigOven Yum Cuisine American Category Cookies Persons48 Serving Size1 each Prep Time20 minutes Cook Time30 minutes Total Time50 minutes 12345 Rate this recipe |0 ratings Ingredients1/4 cup butter -- at room temperature1 cup packed brown sugar1/2 cup heavy whipping cream1 egg2 cups flour1/2 teaspoon baking soda1/2 teaspoon salt1/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg1 cup chopped peeled apples -- any baking apples1/2 cup butterscotch or white chocolate baking chips1 cup chopped walnuts Glaze2 tablespoons butter -- melted1 teaspoon ground cinnamon2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream2 cups powdered sugar InstructionsPreheat oven to 350°.In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in cream and egg.In another bowl, combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Fold in apples, baking chips and walnuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheets.Bake in preheated oven about 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
