Ingredients

  • 6 bagels Stale
  • 2 to 4 cloves garlic minced (OR, 3/4 teaspoon powdered garlic)
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 2 teaspoons basil

Instructions

  • Slice bagels very thinly.
  • Mix together remaining ingredients.
  • Lay bagel slices out on a cookie sheet. With pastry brush, lightly brush the oil mixture onto the bagel slices (both sides).
  • Bake at 325° for about 10 minutes or til lightly golden.
  • Allow to cool.
