  • 9 by 10 inch baking pan


  • 1 can refried beans large
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups grated cheese you can use whatever you like, sharp or mild cheddar or even pepper jack


  • Mix the beans with the taco seasoning mix. Spread this in the bottom of a lightly greased 9 by 10 inch baking pan, top with the 2 cups of sour cream and top with grated cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
  • Serve with tortilla or Frito chips.
  • It can also be spread on tortillas like a burrito filling
