Sour Cream Cole Slaw

8 cups shredded cabbage or Napa lettuce
3 tablespoons chopped onion
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1/8 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup sour cream
Mix cabbage and onion together in a bowl.
Bring the next 7 ingredients to a boil. When mixture is cool, add oil and sour cream, blending well. Pour over cabbage and toss well.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
