6 tablespoons butter
1 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
pinch salt
3/4 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 cup pumpkin puree
1/4 cup dark raisins

Suggested Items:
10-cup muffin pan
cupcake liners
large bowl
large mixing spoon
can opener

Preheat the oven to 400°. Place cupcake liners into the cups of a muffin pan and set aside.

Melt the butter over low heat.

Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt into a large bowl.

In another bowl, whisk the melted butter, milk, egg, maple syrup, and pumpkin puree. Add to the flour mixture and blend. Stir in the raisins.

Pour into the muffin cups, filling 2/3 full. Bake on middle shelf for 18 to 20 minutes, until golden brown.

Remove and serve warm.
