Ingredients

  • 4 cup all purpose flour
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 1 cup peaches chopped fresh

Instructions

  • In large mixing bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda and allspice. Make a well in center.
  • Combine eggs, sour cream and oil; stir in peaches. Add peach mix all at once to flour mix. Stir just until moist. Batter should be lumpy.
  • Spoon into greased muffin cups filling 2/3 full.
  • Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Makes about 20 muffins.
