Ingredients

  • 3 sticks butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour all purpose
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Prepare bundt or tube pan and set aside
  • Cream butter and sugar 5 minutes. Add eggs. Mix all dry ingredients and add to batter alternately with milk mixed with flavoring.
  • Bake 350° for 1 hour 20 minutes.
  • Cool 10 minutes in pan. Invert and cool.
