Water Chestnut Meatballs

1 (5-ounce) can water chestnuts, drained, minced
1-1/2 to 2 pounds ground beef
1/2 to 3/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 cup milk
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt

Combine all ingredients. Mix well. Shape into small balls about the size of walnuts. Brown in 2 tablespoons butter.

Serve with prepared horseradish.

Makes: 6-8 servings (36-48 meatballs)
