1 (16 oz) pkg shredded cheddar cheese
3 green onions, chopped
3/4 cup walnuts, roasted, chopped
1/2 to 3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon liquid smoke
Combine all ingredients and let stand in refrigerator overnight. Spread on assorted crackers.
To roast walnuts: Place the walnuts in the oven for 10 minutes at 250°.
