1 quart large strawberries, hulled
4 tablespoons brandy
4 tablespoons superfine sugar
1 bottle brut champagne, chilled
Divide strawberries among 4 to 6 tall champagne flutes or stemmed balloon wineglasses. Drizzle with the brandy and sugar. Chill until ready to serve.
Before serving, pour champagne over the berries.
