Steak and Broccoli Curry

1 1/2 lbs venison steak
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 cups beef broth
3 tablespoons flour
2 teaspoons curry powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons oil
1 onion, cut into wedges
3 cups fresh broccoli buds, cut into 1 inch pieces
chow mein noodles
hot cooked rice

Slice steak across the grain. Place in bowl and sprinkle with soy sauce and sugar. Set aside.

Stir together broth, flour, curry powder, and salt. Set aside. Heat wok over high heat.

Add 2 tablespoons oil. Stir fry onions and broccoli for 4 minutes. Remove veggies. Add remaining oil to wok and stir fry half of the meat for 3 minutes and push to side of wok. Repeat with remainder of meat. Stir flour-broth mixture and add to center of wok. Cook and stir until bubbly. Return veggies to wok, stir and cover and cook for 3 minutes.

Serve over chow mein noodles or rice.
