Pumpkin Bread

3 cups sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 cup oil
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 eggs beaten
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1-16 oz can pumpkin
1 teaspoon all-spice
3-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cloves
2/3 cup water

Mix all ingredients well.

Pour into greased and floured 1 pound metal coffee cans (about 1/2 full).

Bake at 350° until tests done. Let stand 10 minutes then remove from the can.
