1 1/2 cups sugar
1 teaspoon each orange and lemon zest, plus 2 tablespoons each orange and lemon juice
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
2 cups flour
2/3 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoon baking powder
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a springform pan.
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
In a bowl, mix together buttermilk, vanilla, lemon juice and orange juice. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Drizzle in oil, beating until oil is incorporated, then mix in lemon zest and orange zest.
Add half the flour mixture, mix until incorporated. Add buttermilk mixture, then remaining flour mixture, mixing until blended. Scrape batter into pan.
Bake until top is golden and done 1 hour 10 minutes. Let cake cool in pan 20 minutes then remove pan sides.
Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
