Mom’s Vegetable Soup

3-4 cans diced tomatoes (petite or regular)
1/2 head chopped cabbage
1 1/2 cups spicy V-8 juice (or regular is you don’t like the spice)
frozen okra – amount to preference
small bag of frozen mixed vegetables (good brand)
1/2 small bag of frozen butter beans
1 tablespoon Texas Pete sauce
2-3 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon olive oil
4 beef bouillon cubes
4 cups water (add last to accommodate room in pot)

Combine all in large pot and heat to boil. Reduce to simmer for about an hour. Add Texas Pete, V-8, water, salt as needed.
