Julia’s Crabmeat

1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup flour
1 pint half and half
Worcestershire sauce to taste, about 1 tablespoon.
Salt and pepper to taste
2 pounds white lump crabmeat
8 large scallop shells

Melt butter, add flour to make a roux. Add half and half and stir over low heat until thickened. add Worcestershire, salt, pepper and crab meat.

Place in 8 large scallop shells and bake in a preheated oven at 350° for about 30 minutes.
