Jewish Apple Cake

3 cups unsifted all purpose flour
1/2 cup orange juice
2-1/2 cups granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 cup canola oil
2-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
8 apples
2 teaspoons cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Beat eggs. Mix in oil, orange juice. Add flour, 2 cups sugar, baking powder. Add vanilla.

Peel & core apples. Cut in slices & mix with cinnamon & 1/2 cup of sugar.

Pour 1/2 batter into greased bundt pan. Put apple mixture on top of batter & top with remaining batter.

Bake for 1-1/2 hours.
