Ice Cream Apple Pie Shakes

1 pint vanilla ice cream
2 cups frozen sliced apples
1/2 cup milk
1/3 of a 9″ double crust apple pie

Cut 4 very small wedges from 1/3 pie, set aside.

In blender, combine remaining wedge of pie, apples, and 1/3 cup milk. Blend until nearly smooth.

Blend in ice cream, a scoop or two at a time.

Divide among 4 glasses. Top with reserved pie wedges, then serve.

Makes 4 servings.
