2 cups fresh basil — or cilantro leaves
2 cups fresh parsley leaves
1 cup chopped scallions
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt — (or more to taste)
1/4 cup reduced-calorie mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice — (or more to taste)
Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender; process until smooth.
Makes 12 servings, Yields about 1 2/3 tablespoons (5 teaspoons) per serving.
