Glazed Peppered Steak

Glaze:
1/2 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar

Steaks:
2 teaspoons coarse ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 boneless beef top loin steaks — (New York, Kansas City or strip steaks)

Heat grill.

In small saucepan, combine marmalade and vinegar. Cook over low heat until marmalade is melted, stirring constantly.

When ready to grill, rub pepper and salt on both sides of each steak. Place steaks on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium-high coals. Cook 8 to 12 minutes or until of desired doneness, turning once or twice and brushing with glaze during last 2 minutes of cooking time.

To serve, bring any remaining glaze to a boil. Serve with steaks.
