Double Chocolate Christmas Treasures

2 cups flour
3/4 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup white sugar
2/3 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 – 12 oz packages chocolate chips
3/4 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a small bowl, combine flour, cocoa, soda, and salt and set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, cream butter with sugars, vanilla, and then add eggs.

Mix flour mixture with butter mixture. Add chocolate and pecans.

Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 9 to 12 minutes.
