20 fresh dates, cut down the length on one side, pits removed
8 oz. cream cheese
A little milk
40 toasted split almonds
Soften the cream cheese a little in a bowl, working it with a fork until smooth and add a little milk to make it workable.
Put into a piping bag fitted with a fluted nozzle, and pipe the cream cheese into the pitted dates, filling the date lengthwise.
Place two split almonds at an angle on each. Large white or black grapes can be used as an alternative to the dates.
