1 large head cabbage, shredded
1 large carrot, shredded
2/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/3 cup sugar
1 tablespoon and 1 teaspoon white vinegar
2 teaspoons celery seed
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
In several large bowls, combine the cabbage and carrots.
In another bowl, combine the remaining ingredients. Stir into the cabbage mixture.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Toss before serving.
