Oreo Cookie Crust
24 Oreo cookies
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
Butter a 10-inch diameter springform pan with 2 3/4-inch high sides.
Finely grind cookies in processor. Add melted butter and blend until combined.
Press crust mixture into bottom of prepared pan.
1 cup butter
5 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup half and half
4 eggs, beaten
1 egg yolk
2 teaspoons vanilla
Melt butter and chocolate together in a microwave.
Add sugar and half and half, whisking until sugar dissolves and mixture is smooth. Add beaten eggs and egg yolk slowly, beating until smooth. Blend in vanilla.
Pour into the Oreo cookie crust that is pressed into a 10-inch springform pan. Bake at 350°F until set, approximately 35 minutes.
Chill and decorate with whipped cream.
