Blueberry Almond Crunch

1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
1 cup quick rolled oats
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/3 cup butter
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
1 (21 oz) can blueberry pie filling
1/2 teaspoon almond extract

In medium bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Stir in chopped walnuts.

Press 1/2 of mixture in 8×8″ glass dish.

Stir almond extract into blueberry filling. Pour filling over crumb mixture; spread to edges. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.

Microwave on high 70% power for 9 minutes. Rotate dish quarter turn every 3 minutes.

Conventional Method: Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

Serve warm or cold.
